Clubs * National Honor Society

Attention:

Parker High School is proud to offer junior and senior students the opportunity to gain admission into the highly acclaimed National Honor Society. Based on exemplary academic performance in rigorous classes, outstanding character, active leadership in and service to the school and community, being inducted into the NHS is one of the highest national awards that can be bestowed upon a student. Once membership has been gained, there are both obligations to uphold and opportunities for further school and community service.

Applications are accepted twice during the year, once prior to the end of 1st quarter and again at the end of 1st semester. Be alert to the daily announcements and check the announcements on the Parker Homepage in addition to the NHS information board for application dates. Once an application is submitted, the NHS Faculty Selection Committee convenes to determine qualified applicants who will receive an invitation to NHS.

Please see the links on this page for more specific information about NHS requirements for admission and courses that qualify as challenging.
