Class Summary

The Advanced Construction class is a on-site course designed for seniors who have an interest in the construction of a new home. The School District of Janesville works in collaboration with the South Central Wisconsin Builders Association to provide an opportunity for students to build a new home. The class is open to seniors who have taken prerequisite construction classes. The class consist of both Parker and Craig students who are on the jobsite for two class periods per day. Students gain exposure to real life construction techniques and work side by side with contractors involved in all the trades required to build a residential home.
