Meetings
Please join us as we begin another year of informative meetings. The Parker PTSA generally meets on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the LMC. Past presenters have included representatives from the School Board, guidance office, and VIC Tutoring. Past topics have in-cluded ACT & SAT testing, college prep, and Washington Seminar – just to name a few. Please consider this your personal invitation to attend the first meeting of the year, on Monday, September 12. Please check the website each month for dates and presenters.
Membership News:
Membership is $7 and includes a Student Directory. Membership forms are available in the main office or by calling Lori Long 757-0372. Thank you if you who have already joined! The Student Directories will be handed out at Conferences in Nov. Also, PTSA presents 2 - $300 scholarships to graduating seniors, but one of the requirements is that the parent(s) or student must be a member of Parker PTSA.
Mission:
The Parker PTSA is dedicated to improving the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and the com-munity. We work to bring into closer relation the home and the school, so parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of our children.
