CO-CURRICULAR CODE MEETING

If you have not attended a meeting and wish to participate in a sport, musical, play, debate,  forensics or any other extra-curricular activity it is mandatory that you attend a co-curricular code meeting.

A CO-CURRICULAR CODE CARD IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ACTIVITIES

The co-curricular code meeting is required for all students that participate in a sport or other extra curricular activity.  Both the student and parent/guardian must attend this meeting and sign a code card. The code is an acknowledgement that students agree to abide by the rules set forth by the School District of Janesville.

All students interested in participating in co-curricular activities must attend a co-curricular code meeting with a parent/guardian before they are eligible to participate in the sport or activity. Both Parker and Craig High Schools conduct code meetings prior to the start of each sports season. Students from either school may attend a code meeting at either location. The fall code meetings are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, June 2
Marshall MS Auditorium 8:30 pm

Monday, August 10
Craig Auditorium      6:00 pm

Tuesday, August 11
Parker Auditorium      6:30 pm

Wednesday, August 26
Parker Auditorium 5:00 pm

Students who have previously attended a code meeting do not have to attend another meeting but must stop by the athletic office and re-sign their code card each year.  In addition, the School District of Janesville recently made changes to the 2015-16 co-curricular code.  Students that have a signed code card on file must also complete the 2015-2016 School District of Janesville Co-curricular Code Addendum form.  This form details the changes to the co-curricular code.

Athletics

The following information is intended to assist spectators as they plan trips to Parker High School for indoor athletic competitions this winter:

Door #26 is located at our west athletic entrance where basketball, wrestling and gymnastics teams will enter.  Parents and community spectators making the trip to Parker for these sports would want to park in the west student lot and enter through door #26 also.

Parents and spectators for boys' swim should enter the east drive to Parker High School labeled staff lot and pool. This drive will take you behind Parker High school. Parents and spectators may park behind the school and/or in the east staff parking lot and use door #15 for entry..

By using the indicated entrances, teams and spectators will have the most direct routes to their competition areas.

This will also minimize the amount of slush/moisture that is tracked into our building which is greatly appreciated.
